Consultant-Care

WE ARE CONSULTANT-CENTERED

Optomi has flipped traditional sales philosophies on its head. We devote our resources to making sure the consultant is happy.

It’s not only a unique approach, it allows us to network with the consultants for leads and referrals.

Throughout a contract, our consultants interact with just about every department within Optomi. Whether they have a question about their timesheet, or are curious about a conversion date- we make it easy for them to have one point of contact that can cover all their bases at once.

Our goal is to provide each consultant with an amazing experience that is uniquely Optomi

WHO IS CONSULTANT-CARE?

When a consultant emails consultantcare@optomi.com they’re reaching:

The Consultant-Care Specialist: This person helps with onboarding consultant, setting them up with benefits and will build a relationship that will make their contract as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

The Consultant-Care Communication Specialist: This person is all about building a repport with the consultant by connecting with them via phone, email and notecards. They will send Birthday wishes, etc to help them feel like part of the Optomi family. They also communicate via newsletters, social media and blog posts.

Accounts Payable: This team will help make sure that your consultant gets paid on time, every time. If a consultant has questions about their check or expenses, they’re there with an answer.

Accounts Receivable: If not for this team having an accurate understanding of exactly how many hours each consultant works and how we go about billing each client, we wouldn’t be in business.

UNIQUELY CONSULTANT CENTERED

We have a Consultant Blog as a resource and networking opportunity for our consultants.
Open job postings feed into this site, so you never know where your next req will be filled from.

CONSULTANT OF THE QUARTER

Consultant of the Quarter is a way for us to publicly recognize a consultant who exemplifies our core values in their every day work.

In addition to a press release, a feature on our website and newsletter, and $250 donated to their charity of choice.

In order to nominate a great consultant, you’ll create a write up explaining how your consultant displays and or all of these values and why they deserve this recognition:

Consultant Referral Form

CONSULTANT-CENTERED

When a Candidate starts:

  • On their 1st day on the job, walk the candidate in and bring bagels/donuts for the team.
  •  Follow up after the 1st day is over
  •  You should follow up with the client, and the TR should follow up with the consultant.
  • Within the first 2 weeks, deliver the consultant and client care packages. Make sure you use this opportunity to find out how things are going.
  • How is the consultant doing? Any coaching opportunities?
  • Any upcoming projects?
  • How can you help?
  • TR should be doing the same with the consultant.
  • Continue to keep engaged with both the client and consultant through the contract.
  • Obtain a client reference to add to Optomi’s library of satisfied partners
  • TR should be doing the same with the consultant
  • Once you are in an account, it is your job to “land and expand” that account.
  • Once you have someone billing you now truly have permission to hunt and other managers will be more apt to use your services, especially if you are able to provide them with an internal reference. Always ask the manager you just placed a consultant with if you can use them as a reference and if they can
refer you to other managers in need. Your first successful engagement in any given account will more than likely be your “internal sponsor”, but there will also be managers that love what you have to offer, don’t’ have a need, but are willing to provide introductions and help you navigate through the account. Identify your internal sponsor as early on as possible and work hard to build and maintain that relationship, as they are key to your success in that account

OPTOMI CARE PACKAGE PROGRAM

PRESENTING GIFTS (what to say):

Optomi was founded on the core value of giving back.

Optomi partnered with a confection company in 2014 to give Care Packages to our consultants and hiring managers when they start their contracts. When we give our gifts to them, we’re able to provide weekend bags to food-insecure children in the United States through the community food banks.
