What is a Business Analyst?

The role of a Business Analyst (BA) is to assess a company’s business needs, study how it integrates with technology, and facilitate technological solutions for stakeholders (the business side).

Act as a liaison to bridge the gap between business and technology throughout every stage of the Development Process.

Business Analysts “gather requirements” from the functional teams and take these requirements to the development teams to develop the solution. They are the liaison.

  • How many years of Business Analyst experience do they need to have?
  • What will be their interaction with other Business Analysts on the team?
